Why Prenatal Pilates?
Our Prenatal Pilates classes are an excellent way to optimise your function during all stages of pregnancy, and prepare for birth and the demands of life after.
Regular exercise has been shown to control excess weight during pregnancy, improve the recovery after birth, and reduce the risk of conditions such as gestational diabetes.
Classes utilise small equipment such as stability balls and resistance bands to specifically target postural muscles around the lower back and pelvis (which contribute to pregnancy-related pelvic pain), as well as upper body muscles needed to maintain good posture whilst feeding, carrying, lifting etc.
Never done Pilates before?
Our classes require no previous experience, and are specifically tailored to your individual needs. The maximum per class is 6 people, which ensures close supervision at all times. Exercises are modified throughout the pregnancy to accommodate the needs of each trimester, so you can continue right up to the birth of your child!
If you have any concerns, it is best to talk to your GP, Obstetrician or Physiotherapist prior to commencing classes. Individual assessments can be conducted to screen for any issues and address any concerns.
What about after the birth?
We understand the time demands of having a newborn baby, and as such we now have 'Mums and Bubs' classes. Click here for more info.

10 Class package: $250
All our packages are valid for 6 months, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Don't worry if you think you'll run out of time before you bub is due - our packages can be continued on to be redeemed for postnatal classes!
